All i can say on this subject is that it can be understandable to be frustrated and say that,i wouldnt have took it personally but in the context of ' thats and idiotic thing to do' ..
also best to warn and then use other measures before handing a ban out..

Warn+explain then if continues it warrants kick then if continues ban

i wouldnt of took it personally but as i say it must of been frustrating to have a qual restarted by someone thats just joined the server

I was talking to Laimis too. He said you performed multiple restarts... true or not?
From screenshots... I dont know why Needweed unbanned him. Just because he asked to unban... its weird.

Example: If someone crashing/cheating on server and got ban for 999 days and ask you to unban, would you unban him if he say to you that he was good boy? Of course NOT!
Without proper evidence (reason from admin who banned, replay, log) you have no reason to unban banned player. -> This applies to every MRc Limad.

Messages from MRc Timo....WTF...No sense. Better if I wont comment this.

Maybe ban was too quick and kick would be better, because as you said you restarted by mistake and you dont know in what lap was Laimis. Maybe in quick hotlap.... it makes every player angry and can say bad words to admin who restarted. We are all human. Maybe explanation that restart was made by error would be enough.

Thats from my side.

I unbanned him, because he please me. We know him all and he said me what was happened. I didnt know about idiots or something because he didnt told me that, i only know about ban for asking "Why you restarted". That's all. I dont have S2 so i cant join to S2 servers, Laimiss want after unban talk with him but he banned him again. So i only gived them chance to talk about it. And Star Man dont change my words next time. Because i only asked you, and you talking about dont respect and other things which you took from space....

Swat@
I had earlier situations like that but i dont unbanning noone, it was first time. Its easy talking about somebody and forgot about "our" mistakes. Star man after my question start ragging and telling me what to do, giving me orders etc. I said him, if he think he was right, he should ban him next time. SIMPLE and i confirmed. Now it big case about 12 hours ban. I dont want fighting here or something.. but i trying to defense my action Smile..

BTW: I have good memory.... And if i start banning all people who call me "idiot" on server our Ban List will be 213 times longer than now.

i agree with swat on that someone can only come to there own conclusion from reading the logs and watching replay..
I have done so and heres my conclusion

Firstly he was kicked for saying noob why u restart which in my eyes isnt an kickable offence

second when laimiss says well dont restart the reply from Starman is I will restart when i want which isnt really the reply from someone that accidently restarted

after this one racer on the server then disconnects due to another restart and its then that laimiss says idiot and disconnects.. We have to remember that the servers are here to offer a service to racers of lfs and if we enter a server it doesnt mean we can disrupt whats already happening (race or qual) we need to ask if its ok to restart or as we do on fbm a restart is by vote only after a lap as been made

I truefully see that this incident was started by the restart from star man and also that i can understand laimiss reaction.

My conclusion is not based on laimiss history of being with the team and is made by seing the incident in black and white in the log files..

Rallyx unlocked

also its a topic under discussion still has if there are errors done by someone then they learn from it..It is the job of an supad/admin to say when and why things are wrong. but im going to say you have to stop assuming that im sensitive for some reason..im a lot more professional thinking than you seem to think i am and am never ever sensitive on any subject

SO final conclusion is that starman shouldnt kick/ban so hastily and also think of the racers already on a server regardless of if they are a team member

its not the point about the ban being over mate,if there is a lesson to be learnt then its important for them to learn it.otherwise we end up with many instances of it happening

Hi

As i have seen from the posts above, my name is mentioned, so i feel i have to post here.

In my opinion, Star Man made a wrong decision by banning laimiss. For example:

its all hypothetical, so no paralleels here... Lets presume that for example DriverGR(1st name that came in mind) is racing in server, but using different name, like racer123 or whatever, then Star Man comes, "accidentally" pressing ctrl Q and restarts the quali, then driverGr calls him a noob(again, its an example, names doesnt play role here) in angriness, and then star man kicks/bans him......The Point is that u should watch who ur banning/kicking in !pl or somewhere else, or see the persons lap times/safety rating etc. Dont rush with your decisions.......It is fustrating when u r on fast lap and someone restarts quali, like mentioned before, or when u have just finished warming tyres etc.....

But what consernes my in game chat with Star man, If needed, im sorry, but everything i said, had smile in the end, so no need to be offended, life goes on, no worries.... cheers

Hope u get my point, case closed....

Reminder: the example is fictional, DriverGR was the first name in Mrc that i remebered, so no offence, m8... Very Happy

I think "Google Translator" is a liitle bit complicated sometimes.
Perhaps the right word was : darnel or discord
so..
I don't wanna put darnel/discord in Mrc.
It's correct?
