What would you do....

Hey all,

Just need some advice. I have been getting some pretty good practice in recently. On the Blackwood with the FBM, I can easily drive the current set up I have in the low 1.15's and mid 1.14s, and if I push hard, I have gotten a 1.14.09

I really want to get into the 1.13's, do you think I should keep trying to push the current set up I have, or start getting used to a newer set up that is proven to hit low 1.13's?

Takes so long to get used to a set up, I feel like I'm a learner all over again, so I keep jumping back into the set up I am comfortable with.

if you race whit same set from a few month and cant brake time,its time for new set...dont expect from a new set do pb in 1-2 days...need practice...so..see you are in server...come and i get you 2-3 sets to try

not,just human....and i realy apreaciate when you said you go single player to try set s...means you are a guy who dont want to screw up race...but,i saw you do 1;15 regular...dont do single player...stay on server,stay last first lap and go wruuuuuuuuuuuum...one more tip...stay a few laps and whach a fast driver how he take lines and corners..in fbm,how you take corners counts very much...i hope i was ussefull to you..

i was getting the same laptimes not long ago mate and now am at 1,13,33,my bit of advice that il give is go slow into each corner and accelerate out,after getting the timeing right my laptimes went right down

Those set ups are amazing Cristina, thank you. Oh, I was only stirring south, I know I couldn't handle his set ups

Thanks for the advice bish. Sounds easy in theory, but keeping the back end straight is harder than most would think for a n00b. Getting there but, already hitting mid 1.14s with heaps more to push.

to be honest im still pretty much a noob at fbm,i only started racing bl1 fbm a few months ago myself,you will get there mate with determination and we wil help you as much as possible.

4 simple rules how 2 get fast to 1.13.0x

1. Look how faster drivers drive
2. try 2 copy that driving / practise
3. stabilze
4. Repeat with Step 1

Sounds dumb, but its an easy way

you forgot that you need same setup as the driver you learning from .... because if you have different set.... you cant copy same driving.

if only it was that easy to get fast by watching faster racers,it may give a rough guide to try and follow and i emphasise the TRY part.you will find your rhythm soon enough and more important than setups ect is FOCUS,if i focus well enough i get mid ,1,13s or lower but then when i can focus properly due to either my kids or someone in chat spamming then its a slow time,

true swat...depends of a lot of things...sets,control...brain .....i put south 2 days ago to race whit ks...god...i laught like hell...

Update,

As said, those set ups Christina gave me were amazing, just had to tweet a little bit for my style of driving. I have hit a 1.13.58

you welcome my friend....keep pushing...you gonna end up a 1;12 freak soon. ..like my mate bish too...i m happy to be ussefull

il get the 1.12 soon, my best split times were after not racing for about 4-5 days while ill,so i guess i just need to be ill more.lol or recognise why i got better split times after a break,.probably more relaxed

lol..with me its definitly needing to relax and focus,i tend to watch the map most of the time looking for anyone sitting on the track ect,hence i always get my best times when a few racers are present
