Need some help...

Hello [MRc] Team,

Today I've wanted to join your servers, but I got a message back that I'm on the banlist for 999 days.
The problem is that I have no idea why, last time I joined I didnt got any ban or warning from an admin.

If anyone could help me please with the ban reason or something ? that would be great.

Hi Y.Lemmens, can u tell us when is the last time, day and Mrc server name, that you race, maybe any supad can help u.

Last time I was on the servers exactly, no idea, should be somewhere last week.

The server was an FBM at Blackwood one.
So either this one;

Or this one;
[MRc] Formula BMW

there was some suspicion of you using an hack which can be seen in the following thread

There is a link to a replay that shows someone drafting you and then going to overtake but then you pull away pretty quick after a split second of drafting someone yourself even though the racer behind didnt seem to get that response from drafting you

watch it from the car behind you view. the ban was given until we could figure out for sure if there was a hack used

very interesting... on that replay it looks like "V-TEC kick". You can see that driver behind was trying to pass him as he gain speed with drafting, but then Y.Lemmens kicked forward and he was again behind him.
We must also consider lags, so. Its pretty hard to judge situation like this.

hi guys i would like to share my opinion as well if accepted

1. he use a hack but he is very smart and use it only when he really need's it...

2. it may be the lag : if you watch close, in lap 2 in first corner , he get crashed by other player but they don't even touch !!

Last 2 weeks we have a lot of bad hackers and crashers !

You can also see it if you scroll the ban list .....

By ban , they come back 2 min later with other name and keep on doing !

So if I ban a hacker for 999 days you can make shure that I (and mostly outher racers)

are shure that hes one !

Im so sick of these cheaters and will have no mercy with them !

Clever hackers like the guy abouve use theiy hack only for sec. somethime...

But they are hackers ....destroy good races and crash for fum....!!!

from this viewing angle it looks like speed hacking... the passing guy has 3-6 kp/h more and then sudden... the left car has the same speed and accelerating more... ok he was in drafting range but this sudden speed ++++ impossible^^..

edit: at the orginal replay we could see that the RPM was suddenly jumping up.. not cause from lag!

I can really guarantee than I'm not using any hack or something.
I do have some lag issues sometimes as I not have the best internet in the world.

I would never never hack, but yeah, there isnt really a way I can proof that I'm not using them.
You can ask any member from my team ( www.sgpteam.com ), but yeah, that doesnt really count as proof.

So yeah, not sure whats gonna happen now ? :/

it needs more investigating- you can hear a difference in the sound of the engine suddenly and if it was lag then im sure if it ws that bad it would be shown a little more on the replay- look at how long the car behind had drafted for and then see how he only half drafts a car for a split second and shoots off.

Yeah, I find it strange also, no idea what caused it, I think lag. :/

The only thing i can think of is that lag on his end caused the car drafting behind him to tap him, increasing his speed. Lag on his end is something that can't be captured in a replay, unfortunately, so we have no way of knowing if that is what happened. I've had stuff like that happen to me before.

If thats not it, then it is either a speed hack or a bug.

i have replays where other peoples lag can be seen,i think its only your own lag that cannot be seen

A little while ago, when my internet connection was worse, everybody would be jumping around the track when racing making it very hard for me to race. I asked some people to see if I was lagging while racing, but I wasn't. It has something to do with a wireless internet connection.

Thats a problem I also have from time to time, as I said I'm using wireless and my internet connection isnt very good either. :/

il look into it more - as far as i was aware- lag is caused by the interuption of data packets being uploaded and downloaded- so because your own position is shown directly from the game on your pc and doesnt take uploaded or downloaded data to be shown all you should see is everyone else get lag spikes above the cars which shows that its youself lagging -

I think it was cheating obviously, but I dont want to make a decision, it's only my opinion, as I watched the replay. As I experienced, lag is not like this.

from what ive read upto now was that an fps lag you were suffering or connection lag- that sounds like the outgoing data packets from your pc were being sent ok but the data packets from everyone else sent to your pc were being interupted

Also if he had been lag hit or even if was hit without lag i think it would send his RPM right up and past the 9000 rpm mark-
