Hi all...
I`ve been racing on your servers for a long time, I even have a Limad status, and for years I have been using the same skin on my car, that I made myself.
It is skin based on German WWII fighter Focke Wulf 190 and it includes all the markings the real plane had, including swastika on the tail. I`m a huge aircraft lover and that is the main reason I made that skin.
Yesterday one of the higher admins told me to remove that skin or I`ll get banned for 999 days...
Here is the skin, so please tell me, is it ok for me to use it online or not?
... and keep in mind, its just a aircraft skin... and you can see swastika in every airplane sim that has WWII planes in it. It is part of history, and as such, can not be banned.
You can see the skin over here (I`m at work so I cant take the screenshot) - I`m AA SaBbA in this race (its also part of the past

Good morning Gentlemen,...
The higher Limad who told him to change the skin was me. I advocate utterly in my opinion.
MRc-Servers shall be unterstood as professional, loyal, friendly and tolerant servers. That's why any publication of racism, bad language and inappropriate behaviour is scotched.
We have many different racers visiting our servers, from different countries, with different cultures.
It should be clear and a matter of moral basic unterstanding that nobody gets offended or defamed.
It is absolutly inappropriate to use enblems or symbols of the Nazy party on public servers. Don't get me wrong- I do NOT assume anybody any political attitude. I do not care and it's not my pigeon. I understood that SaBba used this skin (incl. symbols) because he is a airplane fan. So what, just use it without the swastika.
To ride with a symbol which can be unterstood very wrong (and mainly is!) is inappropriate.
I am grateful and proud that we as MRc-Team advocate togehter for tolerance and loyal moralities.
On this background, I am sure that you, SaBba, will compromise not to use swatiska anymore on our servers- just like you already did, when I asked you to.
Thank you for your attention gentlemen. Best Greetings. See you on track.

Chef, I just wanted to ask others... and if everybody agrees, no problem, I have a version without the Swastika.

Also there wont be a 999 day ban abit much for a picture on a car lol

I can totally understand both sides of the topic and wanted to offer my 2 cents if it helps explain things a bit.
The skin itself is just a skin and not really a big deal however it's the symbolism of what a swastika once represented in the past that could potentially offend someone and may lead to conflict which we try to avoid as much as possible so everyone can have fun and enjoy the time we all spend on the track together.
I think it's time for a group hug! lol

while one sign may not cause offence to one person it can at the same time have a different meaning to another. Usually i would come to a conclusion over any matter like this straight away but due to what i say at the beguining of my post i feel its right for me to leave the decision in the hands of nkschef.
From my perspective i can see that it may not be meant to cause offence on purpose but it still can have an undesired effect on others
edit : Sorry for my really late reply on this subject, I have been pretty unwell recently so not had as much time to be online, and for that i wish to thank all members for there work
