New PB limit

Hello, everyone administrators and drivers!

(GD)DIDO and  I had the idea to see  whether it is possible to create a new server with a PB time limit, a server for good drivers with the max of 1.13.00 FBM BL1  or changing the PB time limit with the existing server MRC formula.  A trail period of a month to see if it’s a good idea and it’s picking up by other drivers.
 
We think  on such a server, the racing will be high paste because 1.13.00 means the drivers are usually good drivers and serious about the racing. This also can be a big motivation for novice drivers to play on such a server.

I am convinced that it will be a really good motivation for other beginners to be able to play on such a server.

There are many noobs atm, so they get really disappointed when they see that they got beaten brutally by more experienced drivers. As well, we get mad when the beginners do a mistake, forget to shift s and destroy our race.

In my opionion the server would get high reputation, because everyone wants to drive with the best and they probably have motivation to improve themselves to get to this server.

However, there is a lack in number of drivers. So I would set the PB Limit to 1 13 30-50

Also vote for a such server, however the 1:13:00 I think is too restrictive.
I suggest 1:13:25 as the limit, as who can make it I think still fast enough, and server probably will not be empty...

I am interested of joining this event, how ever i hope the pb limit would be raised up a little as in my track record is 1.13.070.

If am eligible to drive i would very much like to be apart of this event of race's.

this is good idea, but 1:13:00 seems very hight, maybe we can try 1:15:00?

last limit:1.13.98 maybe 1.13.99

ok for 1:13:99, we will try it now

Great idea 1:14 seems just okay, as most of low 1:13' racers are really competitive

In fact, I exaggerated 1.13.00
already seen, much better racing

with 1:15 there will be still drivers with bad attitude... if the limit is 1 13 00- 1 13 50 we can enjoy top racin

Doesn't "Formula BMW" server do that? Although, 1:16 is the lowest limit I can set I think. I will usually set a limit when there are more fast drivers than noobs. Although I also agree that 1:15 is too high. When its mostly 1:13's and 1:12's racers, then ya, 1:15 would cause ruined races for some competitive faster ones who get caught behind the slower ones. And I find many drivers at 1:15 think they are at the same level as someone doing 1:12's and always end up ruining the race for someone who actually has a chance to compete with the fast ones.

  The only problem, which has been getting worse, is I'm not sure there would be enough fast racers left in LFS to benefit from this... Lol... OR ones that will race each other...lol. 
       As it is now.... most of the time when I log in, MRc Formula is empty and GP Track is full.... so fast racers are choosing to race with the noobs, because there's nobody in Formula server, which at least does have some kind of limit system already. I constantly remind fast racers in GP Track server who complain about noobs, it is the server made for them....go to MRc FORMULA. Half the time, nobody listens and just stays in GP Track anyways...why? Because nobody in Formula... haha.... big circle. Lol....Although, being in Canada, I guess being on the opposite side of the planet from every other LFS racer doesn't help either. You guys go to bed when I log on. Lol. So I'm usually stuck with many "Special" kinds of drivers. Lol. I don't even bother to race sometimes, just try to coach the ones on the track, trying to get us some more worthy racers in LFS!!!

   Just my 2 cents.

If people started to use the formulabmw server it would soon fill with racers and would be better. it can go from 1 racer online to 10+ in a short amount of time

Many drivers say they want to race hardcore but drive all day in GP track banning and kicking people. When I ask come to Formula they say that there are only 5 drivers. But 5 sersious drivers is better than 2 fast and 8 beginners in my opinion.

I try to be as much as possible on the formula server so the server is not empty. Also I spam as much as possible in the Gp track server. There is much improvement allready... Thnx for the opertunity!

Hi guys!

I really think that's a good idea. In fact, in order to motivate people in increase their driving skills, create an exclusive server could help beginners. Pro drivers could racing properly (that's the main think of lfs game) with a good environment and having a good time.

Hello, today I played the MRc of 16-20 hours ,
There were many drivers, not all very fast ,but each of them know what is, for fun.
trust me, no foul. It can happen to someone error ,no car abandoned on the track
I also think that no driver has not seen blue lettering on the monitor "blue flag"
the administrator was not anyone needed
there was no one to vote against the other driver.

yes.. worked..  i stay when i can..  in the formula bmw.
idk why ppl prefere gp formula..


formula bmw is more competitive with minirace etcetcetc.. full optionable for all limad with !si command

From what I see...This is the problem.... permanent 'Pb limit' server = very few racers. But again... I am online mostly when you all are snoring. I guess LFS not so popular on this side of the planet. lol

  Also... The instructions could be better in MRc Formula, there could be a message explaining it is a lower Pb limit server and show the minimum lap time needed and direct them to GP Track for learning and improve Pb. This way... nobody gets frustrated, I see many noobs come and always spectated but clearly don't understand why and get mad, not come back maybe!?

  And Ya, (GT)Dido...(lol...GT = Google Translator)... I'm curious too... what is the ARC?? lol

revised course was supposed to be the MRC

However, the problem will not be solved ever .
The server GP Formula is open to all . Bp The limit can be set to Formula BMW ( any limad can set it )
so if you see the server gp formula full of beginners , revenue in Formula BMW and run them ^^ izy

seems like this server dont work as in the past since the new pb limit..
