| Hey! I go by Baron X ingame, I just joined two days ago and have put in many many hours already improving quickly thanks in no small part to the awesome tips/guidance Xabales has provided in addition to others, Mikke, Huevos, Sixence to name a few of the people who have been huge for me in my fledgling race career. So, I'll start off by laying it all on the table here - I don't yet meet the requirements for the team, my best BL1 XFG lap right now is 1:37.09 although I know I can push that down a good deal with a good lap but I am still improving and learning. I've been on the game for two days and I think Xaba can attest I have come a far way already and I'm going to keep pushing until I can hang with the best of 'em I hope my level of activity and determination and above all else my friendly and helpful nature will aid me in my bid to join MRc Here's the formal question portion as requested - - LFSW Username Baron X - PB time which meets our time requirements 1:37.09, I also did a 1:13.86 on my third race of the Rally stage if that counts for anything :p - Country USA - Your age 26 - In-game name ( [MRc] Name ) Baron X - License (Demo/S1/S2) Demo presently - Your Safety 68.78 presently, improving as fast as I can race - Favorite Track and car I guess XFG and BL1 because it's pretty much the only one I have access to though I had an absolute blast racing on the Rally stage in the XFG as well. - Why you want to join MRc Team I want to join a great community of friendly individuals who love going fast, I want to learn and improve and I know a strong team will push me even harder, I have two days logged and I am already pretty consistent and pretty quick but I still have a lot of improvement to do before I can compete with 1:33s and the like I want to compete against the best, I want to ask questions and I want to teach others to be their very best as well. Anyone who has played with me can attest to the fact that I am friendly and positive and very hard working. - What do you expect from being in MRc I expect a great community of players, people who I can talk to and get to know, have fun with and learn from and eventually compete with, and maybe beat :^) I'd love to get involved in both participating in and helping to run events, I may be new but I am as motivated and driven as anyone, I'd love to fly the MRc flag and spread good will and some quick laptimes for all to see Thanks! I would be happy to hop on and do a voice interview as well, I'm eager to do what I can to prove I'm a worthwhile investment for MRc although I've only just started playing LFS. Thank you so much for your time and consideration! Keep the Fire Alive Inside You | |

| Hi mate,
Good to see you have applied.
I would say give it a month get to know the MRc team and we can decide then.
From your application it looks like you would fit in well but your LFS experience just needs a chance to improve.
Hope you decide to keep racing on MRc to get more experience.

| So a quick update - my !rt is now about 78% and rising, and thanks to M@'s awesome encouragement this morning I managed to get my time down to 1:36.40 with obvious improvements possible, I didn't even expect to get a PB that lap with how many things I messed up I am learning to play with keyboard and mouse now, until this point I was using an xbox 360 controller, I can already tell the mouse+keyboard has the potential to go much faster but I need to get used to it since it's completely new to me My best with the mouse so far is 1:37.06 but I know I can do much better, I just keep screwing up a couple corners reeally badly due to the change of controller but I have been making large improvements on other sectors so once I fix up the problem spots I should be able to get myself into the 1:35s... hopefully today | |

| Haha well I've got two weeks to get a 1:34.5 so taking my time is difficult I managed to get a 1:36.27 with the mouse/keyboard after a long day of learning the new controls but I screwed up a bunch during that lap and I accidentally braked on one of the straight aways because for some reason I reflexively right clicked, could have easily been just into 1:35 territory but for tonight that'll be all. I really need help with the very last corner on BL1 right before the start/finish straight, I butcher it every single time and no matter what I try I can't seem to consistently get through fast. What's worse is that I don't even understand why, every other corner I know why I'm fast or slow and how to adjust, that corner I am just lost lol Oh also !rt is something like 84% now, and also I got a S1 License lol | |

| more important than laptimes is you as a person and how well you fit in and how well we can get to know you. From the little bit i have seen you seem like a good gentleman so thats a good start. Many checks are done in the background by myself as i always need to make sure that applicants are not people who have caused problems with other accounts in the past
Determination and a good attitude will work well for you so given a little time i would see no problems

| I have no past accounts lol, I found the game a few days ago because I wanted to play Forza 4 on my 360 but I lost my power cable and I really wanted to play a low spec sim racing game to sate my hunger for racing, also hence why I started out playing with a 360 controller My name is Anthony, I'm from Upstate New York, I am 26 years of age, I have gone by the following names on the internet: bareblar02, bareblar03, Baron X, the main place you will find me is on Rap-Royalty where I compete in online writing leagues, I have a soundcloud where I have songs I have written including one which was a love song for my dog. I love watching F1 but I am frustrated by the fact that it seems like Mercedes Benz is literally untouchable but I am loving Max Verstappen as is the entire world I think, that guy is lightning quick and has tremendous car control skills. Oooh, and I watched the "World's Fastest Gamer" series by McLaren which I was annoyed by, it was basically a glorified advertisement for McLaren and didn't have any of the real "training" or "competition they advertised, instead they just had qualifying and then did 4 minute shorts to summarize what happened those days, I was mesmerized by how clean and effective their lines were and that was probably also a strong reason I found myself on LFS when I did. Hmm, I have a ton of dogs, I play tennis, swim, and snowboard, I work currently as a commercial electrician, I love misusing "Mach Schnell" which was from some movie, I know it is bad german but that is why I love it, my syntax is like "You need more Mach Schnell!" as in "You need more Make Fast!" hahaha Anyway sounds good, just thought I'd share some random bits about me - I'm going to gear up and go try to lower my time some more | |

| Cool! I followed you and liked/reposted a few of your tracks I really enjoyed from my page Awesome stuff! We should find some means to collab, do you make beats from scratch or more enjoy doing remixes of existing ones? I am uploading a freestyle video I randomly did a few months ago that I forgot about completely haha I'll post it up so you can get a glimpse into my ridiculousness I used to live in the city, I was actually born in Queens (as one of my songs says hahah) and now I am living Upstate near Albany, it's a nice change to have some peace and quiet though a bit boring living in the woods, that's what LFS is for I guess! Oooh, no new PB but I finally hit a 30.XX on split 1! (30.88 to be exact ) I was so overwhelmed with excitement that I pulled over immediately after to spam chat with YESSSSS hahah I set that as an intermediate objective before I push for 1:35.xx and I did it now for the hunt for that elusive lap time, 1:36.27 still stands as PB but not for long! (I hope ) | |

| My main work is usually building my remixes using my midi keyboard where possible if i find the score sheets or at times il base the main lead from midi files and build the rest around it in fl studio. I have played the keyboard/piano for over about 30 years and the electic guitar and a little with the flute for about 20 years
I live in rural cheshire in the uk which sounds similar in quietness, im not far from oulton park race track or delamere forest which once would of covered the uk. I was for years a volunteer conservationist until i got ill so love the forest and nature

| BaronX I'm taking a huge gamble on you so please do not let me down everybody who knows me will tell you I would normally not do this. But I have witnessed you myself on the server and you seem to be a great guy you have obviously impressed Ricky and also Mikkee has put in a good word. Your forum posts / conversations with Bish seem to fit in well with how we are at MRc. So I will add you as a Trainee member you can use the MRc Tag you will be able to kick and spec other drivers but at this stage you will not be able to ban. You also won't have full access to the forum till you have made full member status in hopefully a few weeks. Welcome mate But yet again please prove me right on this and turn out to be a good guy. (To all other members please report back on how Baronx gets on and help him out when you can) | |

| Thank you! I will most certainly not let you down! I tried to input the tag (and also learned that for whatever reason colors take up space??) but I got kicked from server for bad name, Mac said that it would take time for the server to update so I will eagerly await it I managed a PB this morning, disappointingly small improvement since I had +.6 during the lap and lost it all on the very last corner hahaha that 1:35.xx is coming today! new PB 1:36.25, getting much more consistent though, I had about 20 1:36.xx laps last night and more this morning, I even had a positive speed on the last corner for just about the first time since I set 1:36.27 hahaha just to illustrate how much of a problem that last corner has been giving me Thanks again! I set some new chat commands to help out more with keeping things clean/orderly on track and help out with keeping the MRc GTI server running smoothly I wanted to ask - so as an example, this morning there were two guys on, most likely friends that decided to join the game together, Mac said they had 23km total driven (how do I check these stats as well?) by the name of Milu and Alfonso or something like that, I don't remember the other guy exactly, they were coming down the straight and the second guy plowed into what seemed like his friend it seemed without even braking or just entirely too late, probably just a serious misjudgement of speed due to the 23km but they were causing lots of trouble on the track due to inexperience but they also were intentionally crashing and spinning one another out which wasn't a matter of inexperience, they were just messing around and having fun on a new game together presumably. What do we do in cases such as these? Also they were unresponsive to chat, probably not English speakers, how do we amicably deal with such incidents? I don't want to leave a bad taste in their mouth leaving the server because ultimately we want good will with the entire community at large regardless of skill level but if it hadn't been empty aside from Mac and myself they would most likely have been ruining races for others. How do we handle such a situation fairly and justly? That was a wall of words hahah | |

| !ban 999 No but seriously, I would first state that contact is not allowed on these servers and to read the rules!. If the bumbling continues with no response, could ensure that they know how to write in chat with "T". Maybe even check where they are from using !pl command and write with their own language using G translate. But since they were intentionally crashing you can kick right away and then sort out the situation when they have your attention. | |

| Haha okay, good to know! And yes, the crashing was 100% intentional, they would leave the pits be driving the wrong way just to hit one another, definitely not just some good willed but unskilled newbies :p I started off by calling out the offender whom I happened to be spectating, just said something like "what was that {friend 1}? Be more careful!" got no response, started a little conversation with Mac who said he had missed it, I told him I was spectating and saw friend 1 dive straight down the inside right into friend 2 without even braking first. I continued to watch them as they continued to crash, I asked them if they spoke English, no response to any of it, then I explained how to chat with the T key, still no response and continual crashing, eventually they left so it wasn't a further issue but it was a really uncomfortable spot to be in not knowing the "correct" way to deal with it. They were ignoring all chat instructions given being as friendly as I could be just assuming they were two kids that wanted to play together crashing repeatedly and probably sitting in the same room laughing their heads off which is totally fine, just not on a serious racing server with others on the track! Cool! Good to know. Thanks gemini | |

| About to head to sleep, made some progress with 4 PBs tonight shedding first (and second, and third) blood on 1:35 - best stands at 1:35.80 presently and that lap was with major losses throughout so a lot of improvements yet to be made with more consistency. I think I had 10 or so sub 31 S1s tonight, 30.86 still stands as the best so far but I had a 30.87 and a 30.88 tonight so I think that one will get chipped down tomorrow Anyway, I'm going to keep this post updated with progress. Definitely pleased 1:35.xx happened tonight, and now seems like much less of a mountain to climb. It's quite cool how as you improve times that once seemed daunting and difficult to achieve are now increasingly common, and splits which used to be the gold standard are now literally trashbag runs hahah, I like it Anyway, have a great night MRc! | |

| baron x welcome to the Team. As simon has said, you seem to fit in well and we share a few hobbies and interest which is a bonus. Another thing that is important in the team is a sense of humour (especially when you laugh at my driving) Its rare that i say much that actually matters and i can be compared to the ravings of a lunatic You will see that the friendships here go beyond just gaming, myself and many other members have and would go out of our way to help each other when in need. Life throws many obstacles in our way and if they are faced together life will be easy Do not worry about improving laptimes as that will cause you tension which will slow you down. Instead relax and have a laugh with the good members and regulars that use the server then good laps will flow easily | |

| Thanks Bish! We could hop on voice sometime soon and talk about making something funky! Hahah it's hard to not worry about them when Xabales told me I am expected to produce a 1:34.08 which is obscenely fast and will take a great deal of practice, I think in terms of progression I have been dropping my time very rapidly at 1:35.80 with only 2628 total lifetime miles driven according to /w ds but shaving more than a second and a half off that is quite a monumental task for two weeks! I've been studying Mikke's WR run to try and gleam technique from it but even so the level of consistency to achieve that lap is staggering, I know I can do a 1:35.30 with my current technique, adding on the handbrake turn 1 and other odds and ends should get me into 1:34 territory but the gap from 1:34.99 to 1:34.08 I imagine will be filled with nothing but blood sweat and tears sooo nerves are definitely necessary RoadsBunny/Sixense mentioned a TS3? I'd love to hop on and chill with the team! | |
