Hi, i dont know why this "msniki" still playing on our servers. He admitted that use cheats. He said it was only 1 time to try... but after i kicked him he joined to rallyx with other name and still doing it. When i kicked him from rallyx he went to AA server and still cheating (but this what he doing on AA its not our business). After this he deleted own PB's from lfsworld. I didnt do screenshot when he admit but i think this SB its sufficient proof.

see on this screen shoot all the bosses are online.sam,swat,driver .ricky...strange to me...i stay out couse is not my place to coment.a time and day whit this replay will be good.i dont understand why you dont ban them right away

I dont get it too Always when i giving to Bud cheaters he doing like that but he want ban his IP and i don't know he have rights to do that. So its reason. I don't know im fresh and young here..

To ban their usernames for 999 days or so is much better instead of banning the IP.
Everytime they want to rejoin they have to create a new LFS account, which is much more annyoing and waste of time than changing your IP and rejoin.

it all depends on if they have a static ip or not..i know there has been discussions about it and there are pro's and cons of IP banning

yes i know what you mean my ip changes once in a while i have the option to have a static ip but no point i prefer my ip to change makes it harder for hackers
if not a ban then we will just have to ban them when we see them over and over again : /

In LFS is not possible ban someone by IP. Anyway if you ban IP, you can ban much more drivers using same public IP. So its not best solution.

From the screenshot is not seen that all admins were Online. Its just !top table.

I deleted this driver from MRc stats and banned him.

there is a way of doing it from what i read in lfsforums but its always the chance of banning someone with a dynamic ip then that could ban more people by mistake,,.by static ip theres no static ip address that are the same and its a dedicated ip to that individual but agree it can cause a lot more bad than good

i believe every land in europe give dynamic IP... maybe a IP Range Bans helps but that dont often helps...

if he comes from u.s.a. it would be jackpot... great nation with static ip's

Depends on provider and service you want. You can also pay for static public IP.
But I agree that banning based on IP is not best way in LFS.


@Bish: Yes its possible ban by IP, but not directly from LFS game, but you need disallow traffic comming to your hosting server from IP you want ban, which is not very quick and I think only Sam have access and rights to do it. It's not very handy.

yeh its only dedicated ip's that are guaranteed to be one user and chances are a racers wont be.i knew there was a way but not worth the mess it could cause,its through airio config or something similar.

its not needed though as half of the time the cheaters are so daft they use a very similar lfsworld name or same racer name
