Applying ban for 365 (any limad3+ admin can increase at his consideration). Apart from the hack itself, there was some bad behaviour from that user.

the use of hacks has increased greatly over the past couple of weeks so it looks as if some have recently been made public.

should we keep the bans for hacking at 365 days? Or seen the amount of hackers we can raise it to a longer ban (or IP-ban)

365 or 999 won't make any difference since after they notice the ban register a new account.

No sense on placing such 999 bans for those things which aint gonna solve anything.

In my own opinion a 999 ban should be placed only when deserves an IP-Ban like for example the ddosers i banned.

That's my view.

correct way of putting things. someone using cheats gets 999 + ban to send the message out,now as stated this would really only work if not an demo account as they can make a new account with no loss accomplishement they may of got on that said account.while someone ddosing deserves automatic ip if you are the luckiest person on the net able to get the ip of the person ddosing directly.

now as stated why put 999 day ban anyway as they make new account if demo - well the logical answer would then to i.p ban them so they suffer the consquences otherwise the whole fight against cheats would be pointless as 9/10 people caught are demo racers/accounts

its that much common sense to not use cheats while racing on a dedicated racing server that there isnt really a justifiable reason to attempt it without them already understanding the impact of being caught



so to cut the long story short,(i know i go on and on and on.lool) its 999 day ban for anyone using mods/cheats as its always been even before my time here
