Big Problem with Hacker

I would to report a player: ELWROn (chuckers). I don`t know what kind of hack he had but he closed server and all players lost connection, he was making races end after crossing the finish line after start. I manage to ban him thanks to all member who voted, because i`m just Limad 1 and even if i kicked him 10 times he came back

My reccomendation would be a permanent ban or million days ban for this guy. Incident happened around 1:30 AM my time (GMT +2) or 23:30 UK time

what server? I will check replay.

I found it already. But... how you know that it was 100% him? We dont have autosave of replays on this server, so I'm not able to see replay. If you have, please upload. I dont see 100% evidence, that this player shutdown server.

i think there was just a problem with lag in general on servers as i timed out a few times which is rare

After we banned him, problem was solved. He always was finishing races first even if he joined half a lap before us... and when race ended immediatelly after start he was again the one in front.

Also there was another guy with him, whose name a wrote on a paper but my girlfriend threw it out without knowing I need it. We also kicked that guy, because I was trying to see whose to blame and ckecked !tm and he had lap time of 0:00:02. Even if he didn`t stop the server he was 100% using some kind of hack - as that lap time is impossible: Lap in 2 seconds? Come on - verify fastest time to both of them, maybe it`s not chuckers and it`s the over guy.

I can`t know for sure who was to blame, all I can tell you is that both these guys were in front of everyone when race was finishing with incredible lap times.

I had to report the problem as this would my duty as MRc Member: to help you guys take care of the server and watch for any weird activity

the way they get such low pb time is by manipulating a glitch,i confronted someone on fbm with the same question,i wont post here how its apparently done because it would just influence others to try it - even though its not exactly honest and fair pb times they get its also not using hacks and if not done on our servers then we cant really do anything.

but on MRc you deem illegal? and a banable offence?

ive never managed to catch anyone using the glitch on the servers to gain a pb so have yet to be under the circumstances where id have to make the choice, with it not being a hack and there has been a few that have exploited the "glitch" that up to now they have had there times removed from all server stats - its something that we need to discuss more and determine what to do

this kind of thing is something that i am unsure of how to deal with - so hopefully il be told soon

When some body drive 1.13...atleast he must reach this time again in 3 hours..lool...

Crashers...speedcheaters...cheaters anyway....If I catch one.....

he will get a dream ban...............

see you confusing if someone makes a new account and starts getting 1.13s for example- that wouldnt give any reason to ban unless it was found that they had there previous account banned

Also if my post is read proper it says that if the pb wasnt made on our servers then we can not ban them just because they have an impossible pb made on another server- trust me there are lots and lots with them kind of pb times and it would mean banning half of lfs users especially a lot of s2 racers

Also honestly i think that they should be getting at least a bit faster time than 1.16 pb after 2 or 3 hours if not then they are not fast learners - i only started racing FBM about 6=8 months ago and im close to 1.12s also ive seen our team mate snatch go from being a new racer getting avg time to then getting low 1.12s it dont make him a cheat or hacker though-

Most importantly though is that you cant ban someone because they have an impossible pb time if it wasnt made on our servers also then it would have to be proven that they used a speedhack or if they used something like lag to there advantage-

than Im supprised seen them for hours on server not driving under 1.16........

I also didnt reach my pb..1.13.42 again......but atleast I drive in 4 laps 2 times 1.13......

and not 2 or 3 seconds more...1.16....1.17...I think thats not normal.....

same as me - the other day got 23.60 - 52.95 and ive only managed to get my sc2 as good one other time and that was from a 23.80ish sc1 and got 52.96 sc2 but i can get that then all of a sudden i struggle.lol
