| At about 7pm UTC time on January 19th, I got into a collision with MRc member Speedy72 on the [AA] Historic FBM server. We both had our sides to the incident, but the reality is he braked-tested me on a corner on Blackwood circuit that is normally taken flat-out (at full throttle). He then proceeded to call me a crasher, which I think is a false and simply ridiculous accussation.
Fast forward to about an hour later, I logged onto MRc's FBM server to do more racing, and Speedy72 happened to be on the server at the same time. So I join the server, and then I see Speedy72 calling me a crasher again no more than 5 seconds later. I then said "you brake tested me last race". And before I knew it, Speedy72 banned me by priority vote right away. This all happened within the span of 20 seconds after I joined the server, I had not even left the garage in the pitlane. All I can say about the incident is that Speedy72 banned me to pay me back for a separate collision on a separate race. I find it very disappointing for a moderator to act this way. Speedy72's abuse of admin powers is simply disgraceful. I certainly expect a better level of judgement, rationality, and emotional control from an MRc moderator. It is appalling to see a moderator's decisions to be driven by such high emotions. I also think it is hilarious that Speedy72 is banning me for a separate incident that took place on a separate server on a different occasion.
Even though my current safety rating on MRc is only in the mid-50%'s, I can still say with confidence that I am a clean racer. I have only began racing on LFS last week after coming out of a long break, which means that my safety rating on the server was pre-set to 45%. I have steadily been rebuilding my rating ever since playing the game again. I've been spending substantially more time on the [AA] Historic FBM server, and my safety rating has jumped from a 45% to close to being 70% within a week. The point is, I think I am a clean racer and my safety rating has been on a steady rise. I am certainly not a "crasher" as Speedy72 puts it. I still think he is in the wrong anyway in our crash on the AA server.
This ban will only last for another 11 hours, so it is not a big deal at all. I'm perfectly fine with other mods of MRc not taking any actions at all and just let this ban expire naturally. But I think it is important to flag the issue surrounding Speedy72 to prevent something like this from occurring again.
I've attached a screen capture of the incident. You can see that the reason for ban was "voting", but it shouldn't be hard to realize that this is just an excuse for Speedy72 to abuse his admin powers. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that receiving a ban for voting to restart a race is overly harsh and simply illogical. Speedy72 banned me out of personal spite for the reasons discussed above. I am really disappointed and disgusted with Speedy72's behavior, his behavior certainly deserves the attention of other MRc moderators. | do you have a replay from the AA server, without one we cannot give our judgement, all i can check is to see if there has been any issues with you on our server
in all honesty doubt that he brake tested you, i have raced with speedy72 for a long time and its never been something he would do
If you vote to restart during a race then you obviously break a rule. it is quite selfish to expect everyone to restart a race thats currently been driven for oneself and can then distract an admin as they then would need to cancel it

| No replay unfortunately, but the ban will be over soon anyway. The purpose of this thread is not to overturn it but more about making Speedy72's misguided actions known to more people.
As for the voting part, in my defense, I voted to restart the race only AFTER the race winner crossed the line. While the vote may have came a bit early and possibly violated a rule, the server still automatically nullified my vote, which meant that my vote created no lasting impact. And it does not change my opinion one bit that a ban for a vote to restart the race is a bit much, but we all know there is more to that...

| it only cancels it at the start of the race and not at the end, i do remember you having bad lag issues last time id saw you, so bad that it was impossible to overtake
We would have no reason to doubt a trusted member and as im sure you can understand that without a replay it would come to a trusted members word or a racer who is using a fairly new account for some reason or other
sorry but without a replay we cannot really give our opinion or look into im afraid

| I tell you 5 Times that you Lag like hell. One Time in the Race! When you lag like this it feels for you i break testet you. I dont! After that Race i try 5 times to tell you that you lag and its inpossible to drive with this ping. A lot of people tell you this. You say i "Crash" you and stuff like this. Some driver say the same about your lag and you say farther "YOU CRASH ME". After this ridiculous accusations i dont thin it make sence to drive against you about your LAG. All peoble on the server think the same and we ban you. Not only me. 7 Driver think the same. When you come later to the Mrc server i dont like to start the same ridiculous discussion and you startet the chat with "You break testet me"....that you dont understand that it was a LAG from your side says me you need a break to thinking about. FIX your laggy conecction and come back. Its very simple
cu on track | |

| C NG.
I suggest you turn on the multiplayer save option in LFS settings so if anything happens again you can post the replay
If you do have an issue with lag I suggest you try and fix it before racing.

| i have to agree with what simon and Max have said , i have seen your lag and even had spoke to you about it, I know that there is not much you may be able to do about it directly. All i can suggest is to give double the distance from other cars and to remember that with lag you will have ghost contacts
You seem like a fair polite person and i think that this misunderstanding was caused by a lag incident,. i hope you take the little advice given regarding to allow a little extra space just in case you begin to lag again.
take care and good luck
