Admins should use replays

Hi

I have enjoyed playing on your DEMO server in about half a year. Recently i have seen a lot of bans by priorty vote. And 10 mins. ago it happend to me! I had no part in that T1 crash that happend. I think i will survive not being able to connect to your servers for a while!

But i think that being a Admin, is a serious job, and at least they should watch replay of the incident, before ban/kick.

firstly what server was it on- formula bmw or formula bmw 2 or gp track il then take a look into it for u

If you race on our formula bmw 2 at all then most priorty kicks are people that dont meet pb requirements even though a message tells them to go to other server they keep tryin and getting kicked at which they are auto banned for 12 hrs

or is it rally server or gti i need to know so can check

I know tuborg from rally and hes really not crasher kind of driver or unfair driver. I think that ban was given by wrong admin consideration.

@ Tuborg, are you able to provide us time when you received ban from our admin?

Ive got the log file to the server but for some reason the replays are not set to save - Which i cant understand with it being a demo server-

All i can tell from the log file is multiple people being kicked or banned without warnings and for some must be genuine accidents

here is a bit of whats going on,and if anyone thinks is it necassary to post the answer is YES

If swat says you ok then thats all thats needed il unban you if not already done


!ive unbanned you and i suggest an imediate downgrade of limad to 0 and then if he wishes to say anything in defence he can come here too.

Admins should warn first, then kick and BAN should be used as last instance, OR in case when clearly see deliberately T1 kill or using cheats.
I dont see reason ban every player after some crash.

I temporarily lowered Jan's limad level to Limad0 until this complaint won't completely resolved.

Tuborg, I cant find you on banlist. Were you already unbanned? Or if not, can you please tell me your exact username and I will unban you.

I dont think that there could ever be a reason for all them bans/kicks and he seems to do it a bit when someone starts a vote..

Just think that this may be the first report of him doing this = but its rarely a case of it just being one time someone would act in this way- so how many have suffered that are unknown cases

I unbanned him

Also i would reccomend that he dont get his rights back for a long time as its not a case of someone making a bad jugement its a clear case of abuse

A demo racer has the same right as an s2 racer in that both shouldnt have to experience such things

And thankyou for bringing this too our attention as it is pretty difficult to detect someone abusing there rights unless someone lets us know...

Il give my word that this will be dealt with and we will do our very best to stop incidents like this happening.

well, bish... if someone ban one player by mistake, its OK, everyone can make bad decision. But if someone ban 4 players in short time period without any warning.

Exactly and especially a lot more on rally because rally involves sliding ect and a more closer pack of cars,,..There are different types of crashes and telling the difference is pretty easy most of the time

in many Accidental crashes the one at blame will say sorry or after watching the replay and being told that it was caused by them they then say sorry


Crashes that were caused by a stupid and impatient maneuver - warning then if continues then do as necessary - someone that keeps doing stupid moves that obviously are going to result in crashes are not much different to someone crashing on purpose

with rally at the start and heading to turn 1 if all cars are side by side no-one will want to lose the position they hold ,so in my eyes cant be blamed on any one of them- its different if someone from behind doesn't brake and piles into the cars in front

also i notice that the MRc member in question has been informed about this post but not replied here,but i think that at the very least should be an apology from him to tuborg and anyone else involved
Its only when we admit or understand that we done wrong can we then learn and move on

We will always take matters like this serious mate,Its very important to us that anyone racing on MRc servers have the best possible experience that we can give,
I would like even just for the limad who banned you to at least make make it known here that he knows what he done was wrong. or for him to say he wont do it again,as it shows then that lesson learnt and then can move on..it would also show respect otherwise what would stop it happening again - prevention of similar incidents is better than dealling with cases already taking place
