guys stay on server and dont race

Hi bish and friends......

Allways see that guys are locked in and dont race for an hour.......

They block server for outers wich cant come in and like to race....

So can you activite the feature...if no race ..after 15 min guys get spec. ...from server...

I know its possible...AA does this....

I think this was enabled on MRc servers too. Maybe its off now. Need check.
There is exception for some higher admins that they can be inactive and they won't be kicked by Airio for inactivity.
I will let you know.

I checked settings and it was really disabled. I enabled this function.

Here is current settings:

# Kick people that do not race for a long time - boolean
# This filter may be used on demo servers with low number of slots.

Its just for the normal racers.......

Also blue flag...:

Normaly they get spect. after they dont move...3..to 5 seconds.....

Mabe you can check also...?

its now disabled. We need agreed how many times it should be showed before spec player.

This is how its set how:

# Number of blue flag warnings before penalizing the player - integer
# Zero means there'll be no blue flag spectatings. Any higher value

# seconds under blue flag. Use this setting with caution.

You're welcome with any ideas to improve quality. What is your limit when player will specdated for unrespecting blue flag? Now its disabled.
Maybe need discussion with other admins too what time should be set.

its a very tricky one to estimate a time to be used for it - because if they have slowed down so u crash into them it only takes a second for it to have happened - and if its just they are continuing drive and not allow past then id say to be safe il check some replays ive got and try and get a good time to choose from watching

At AA , EQ had a programm like :

If a guy in front gets shown blue flag;

he has about 5 sec. to let you pass...if not he get send to the box....

Also it depends ho high hes RT is....

If the guy behind has a much higher RT as the guys in front he gets spec. faster.....

we could do with doing a few test with it on a server and see how it works out - but i agree it is needed

Only normal drivers get spect. after..15 min...and must lock in again...

EQ has for shure special software !

But we coult get it !

Currently its set to 60 minutes, not 15 minutes.
We have some thing different from AA. We are not (and don't want) be just copy of AA servers.

I dont know if EQ is using some different software, but I dont think so. If he would need something, he would implement it to Airio (as he is developer).

and to tomtom - a lot of getting things set right is by trial and error - i know that things that eq had tried in the past and was successful he then implemented in the next airio update

A friend of me from India is working on an one software for LFS like (airo).

(hes a top programmwriter for Siemes)

I got the ideas and hes making the programms...so we see whats happen when its finished...

Also we try to do something with the RT....

Its most unfair that when you get crashed , both loose RT....

So we try a programm that only the crasher will loose RT...

and not the guy who was getting crashed...its makeble....

sounds like u wanna have an A.I. which is so inteligence which can decide who crashes and who is the victim? beside the normal racing accidents for little little bumps?

i dunno if its possible... but how should the system decide? 0.5g bump = crash? i mean its 1-3kp/h max speed difference.

another Idea.. the Bump-of-meter (copyrights reserved ) counts how many times and how strong someone touch/bump/Hit/Crash. what about that?
