I would probably just host a temporary server on my PC for this. Has worked well in the past.

[MRc] Turbo and me are on planning for the next Race AA vs. MRc.
All in all i can say, it will be a funny Event on an own Autocross Layout. But this all you will see soon.

Track: Autocross (AU1) with a layout (creating of Ricky and me)

So you will open an event server for practice for both teams a week before the event? Presume nobody from MRc will be getting practice in before then?!

I should be able to race in this one - not actually raced in any of these events yet. Will post on the AA forums and submit the team soon.

P.S. Further questions. If it's two races, how will points be allocated? And how will grid positions be determined for the second race?

Points will be all time the same.

Starting Grid will be Reverse after 1st Race i think. Will try that this will works and write details soon.

I think that's quite a lot of points for a 10 minute race though. How about halving the points for each race?

Reverse grid for race 2 sounds fine though.

It's your event so up to you, but to keep the total no. of points up for grabs for each event consistent (total 101), how about:

Qual
Pole - 2 points
2nd on grid - 1 point
(this gives more incentive to qualify well since grid is reversed for race 2!)

Race
1 - 12 points
2 - 9 points
3 - 7 points
4 - 6 points
5 - 5 points
6 - 4 points
7 - 3 points
8 - 2 points
9 - 1 points
10 - 0 points

Penalty for not finishing a race should probably be reduced from -5 to only -1 point for this one since we are running two races, plus MRT has no reverse gear!

Sorry, one more thing - I did ask before but can I just clarify - nobody who is actually competing for MRc will have had access to drive on this circuit prior to us will they? If so, then you need to get the practice server open asap or provide us with the layout file. Thanks.

Also I think half points would be best, to keep the running of event points consistent.

I will watch what we do. But the ideas are great.
So i will talk with our Event Organisator and ask him what he thinks.

what is needed is either

AA gets same lay out set up on there server

Or one server dedicated to this layout where only AA and MRc has access to for practice which i think this would be interesting all practicing together

Goat - yes, either is fine and I can host a practice server for AA no problems but I just want to make sure both teams get access at the same time so nobody has an unfair advantage.

I think both teams should have the server with the layout asap. Dont want to wait another 9 days to drive on the track

Penalty
When not finish the FIRST RACE, the last position in the next race! sorted by laps to failure.
With no end of the SECOND RACE - minus 2 points (-2)
