Hi! It's unfortunate that my first post here has to be a complaint.

Um how rude of him, but what cause this happen? I was AFK, but not long enough to deserve a kick. I said 'brb (:" before leaving. Since when has members kick other members (it did not seem to be a joke)? Hmph.

Hi Kitty,

I am sorry to read this yes the rules are not to ban or kick members unless its by a Supad.

I will look into this for you tomorrow Roadrunner if you read this please post the reason.

i will look into the log file for the server as i am not 100% sure if it was when id just kicked someone at that time and he had gone too.
Dont hold me to my word on this as i cant be 100% but the log will tell.
If done wrongfully then he will have all rights removed and if done by accident then he should of explained to myself or another admin online and/or come and posted here

i could not find what i had thought in the log file so it seems that it was not when i kicked someone else.If simon could confirm this for me in case i missed something then we can then come to a conclusion with what we will do. Kitty rest assured if he has done it intentionally he will have all rights removed as its forbidden to kick another member and even myself and simon can only do in extreme cases

Totally agree mate these are the only logs I can find the kick/ban before Kitty was about 3 hours previous so no excuse for clicking the wrong name.

What makes this worse is at least 1 supad and a team owner were connected at the time so a simple ask for advice to either by roadrunner would have prevented this issue.

Even if the server was full I would not have kicked a very active limad 3 member but looked for low !rt and slow drivers who were not active.

I think as you said we should remove him as he seems to always be causing problems he got himself kicked by me for bump drafting and winding me up. But I gave him the benefit which has now bitten me in the a*** LOL.

Quick Edit I have made him Limad 0 till we decide what to do Roadrunner it would help if you post and as an MRc admin you should be watching the forums.

I remember this day not so clearly but he just kicked Kitty and (takeo1984..or sb else) was online too who got kicked before. Maybe he kicked wrong person but not 100% sure cause Roadrunner didnt say sry or nothing.

If I kick someone (do not kick off ----) then that has its reasons. I kicked kitty because you have not been active on the drive for more than 2 hours and the server was full. Since I thought the other player also have a chance to participate in the game, I made a server free!
This is actually all ...
I'm assuming that I have behaved correctly, since many players have a limadstatus Just stay on the server without being active in the race.

I'm always thinking that the server is full with ACTIVE players.

If this is a problem, I honestly do not know why you are on a server but is not playing ...

i can see what you mean and i know i have not explained the limad rules to you so in part my fault.Under normal situation we leave team members in spectate as when everyone else has finished and left the server its the inactive member who keeps the server in the active list

The only people that are allowed to kick members is simon and myself and even then its something i have only had to do once in 7 years

My 2 cents on this would be an apology for the mistake for kicking kitty then move onwards..

i can only confirm that i had failed to tell him all the rules of which i am sorry. and even though it would be something that would be obvious i think roadrunner seems to have done it to clear a spot for other racers and did not do it in haste or to insult/anger

Maybe it would be good if a sort of agreement is made here on the forum and future members have to read through it and then post saying they have read and understand the rules and would save any confusion

Hello ,roadrunner, you had no right to kick ban, against the administrator may kitty MRc conducted administrative work on the server or something else, and you decided to kick admin for inactivity. for that, you should at least apologize!
and by the way, road, kick for inactivity works in automatic mode!

And what does that actually mean? I am absolutely not aware of any guilt because I think I acted rightly. After all, it is about these servers among other things as full as possible to get? What does it bring to a server, if it is FULL, but only half the track? Of course, you can leave out a race and relax, but if this extends over several hours, I find the unfair to the other participants over the drive, but can not, as the server is filled with people who have not been driving for quite some time ,

If the server is not full, I do not do something like that, because I also want to allow many participants in the race to participate and it is always better to be in a full server with than in only one half

Kitty, I do not understand you really .... finally we know each other for several years. That you then still complained about being kicked by me although you have not driven more than 2 hours is a mystery to me.

But if it helps I excuse myself with you (even if I do not really see the reason for an excuse)

If roadrunner is stating the truth then it was a mistake made but with his intention of helping on the server. We all make mistakes and that's how we learn new things and evolve in life

Roadrunner you have to understand that members are forbidden from kicking each other. Leaving a member in spectator is important so the server stays on server list as active.

You done it with good intentions but now know its forbidden

I sort of understand why you have done this but the server has more slots than allowed to race so an Admin spectating would not make that much difference. Also you are claiming over 2 hours of inactivity when in fact it was just under an hour.

It is very strange when a driver (in my case) has to express himself for any reason why he has done this or that when someone complains about me in the forum. Furthermore, I would like to emphasize once again that I employ 1/4 of my life with LFS and I also actively participate. Here I have seen people (whether good or bad) come and go .... (including DIDO). I can tick my 44th birthday in my calendar in a couple of months and spent at least 12 years in LFS (not every day but very intensively).
I do not want to see myself as a living legend in LFS even if this probably applies to me Smile

I thought actually the Bish me (and also Sam) longest in LFS knows ... we have already raced together in an XFG when there was still no FBM in the game. That's why I thought that among other things I also got the LIMAD4 status, because I am, as already said so long in the business.

If I have to justify myself each time why I have kicked / banned Player X or Player Y on the server, I do not know what right the status is, if I place myself IMMEDIATELY on Limad status 0, although I am to the Statements of the player concerned had not / had not yet replied.

I am very keen to keep the server running, because for quite a while (several years) I am faithful to this server and try with my little admin advantage to keep the server free and clean of any negatives.

If this is wrong, please let me know!

Its not about justifying kicking a member as its forbidden and cannot be justified but as we are also saying that you did not know that its forbidden which is my fault

You done it for the right reason but on someone immune from it. As i said i take the blame as i should of told you this a while ago but i had forgot to give all info

Most importantly we admins have to always be ready to justify if we kick or ban someone if its requested by those banned. Look through the complaints section and you will see it happen many times
Its only due to kitty being a member which makes kitty and even yourself and other members secure from being kicked.
For example myself and simon are only allowed to kick members of the server but if i did that i would expect simon to rightfully make sure i done it for a good reason and vice versa

Roadrunner, you could have save the multiple responses as well as everyone else and just simply apologize for your mistake. Regardless if we know each other or not, if that is the case..then a friend wouldn't kick a friend. But apology accepted, even though I haven't received it yet. I would have never kicked you since I considered you as a friend.

As shown above per Simon's response, I've been gone for an hour and a half. But regardless, maybe now you've learned your lesson.

In my opinion when I think logically it was a good decision by Roadrunner... I mean the "don't kick and ban an MRC-Member" has it's sense which is legit. But Kitty should have discussed it with Roadrunner directly if it really bothered him. It's only a kick and nothing more...
I had the same problem with MRC Sirmais when I specated him because he was crashing out people and not apologizing. Seriously, why dont you kick out Sirmais beause he acts unprofessionally? I think he is a much bigger problem than Roadrunner. He isnt too active in the server but when he is it's a huge mess... (it sounds rude but its true)

And it's now the same pair of shoes with Roadrunner. He had no bad attention to it and Kitty should kinda understand it. He made a mistake and this topic could be clearified within minutes if everyone stayed calm. I wouldn't ever justify a person because he would kick me for a good reason. I mean there are no consequences for the driver, all you need to do is to rejoin the server. It really isn't a big deal...

On the Sirmais issue kick or ban as appropriate as I removed him from the team a few months back.

kitty afk on the server is fine as it can help if the server becomes empty as it will keep us on the active list so people see it who have set lfs not to show empty servers. kitty im happy to have you here as you are a genuine decent caring and friendly person and its always a pleasure to race with you
